# Run events

> Run events record execution inputs, outputs, progress, errors and operational details.

## Event types

Run events fall into three categories:

1. **AG-UI**: Standard events for execution status, text, tool calls, reasoning and state updates.
2. **Extension**: Veryfront extensions to AG-UI for input requests, child runs, model usage, citations and files.
3. **Control plane**: Events that track how Veryfront queues, authorizes and coordinates a run.

### Run

| `AGENT_RUN_REQUEST_ENQUEUED` | Run queued |
| `AGENT_RUN_DEFAULT_CHAT_START_ENQUEUED` | Default chat queued |
| `RUN_STARTED` | Run started |
| `RUN_PARKED` | Run waiting |
| `CHILD_RUN_STATUS_CHANGED` | Child run updated |
| `RUN_FINISHED` | Run finished |
| `RUN_ERROR` | Run error |
