# Delete inference policy

> Remove the stored inference policy of a project so it is served the defaults again; returns an acknowledgement.

`deleteInferencePolicy(projectReference: String!): Acknowledgement!`

Requires project.settings.manage.

## Arguments

| `projectReference` | [`String!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | Yes | Project ID or slug. Removes the policy and any recorded standard-tier consent. The project is then served under the defaults: EU-only under the `eu-resident` minimum tier while the EU default is on; every allowed model once the EU default has ended. The API records who removed the policy and retains the policy history. Succeeds without a change if no policy exists. Requires a signed-in project administrator. API keys are rejected regardless of their scopes, including project-scoped keys. |

## Response

Returns [`Acknowledgement!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/acknowledgement). Open the type for its fields and nested types.
