# List releases (GraphQL)

> List releases.

`releases(projectReference: String!, limit: Int, cursor: String, sortBy: ReleaseSortField, sortOrder: ReleaseSortOrder): ReleasePage!`

Requires project.releases.read.

## Arguments

| Argument | Type | Required | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `projectReference` | [`String!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | Yes | Project UUID, slug or configured domain. |
| `limit` | [`Int`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/int) | No | Releases per page, between 1 and 100. Defaults to 20. |
| `cursor` | [`String`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | No | pageInfo.endCursor of the previous page, read with the same sortBy and sortOrder. |
| `sortBy` | [`ReleaseSortField`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/releasesortfield) | No | Sort field. Defaults to created\_at. Releases with the same value are ordered newest first, then by ID ascending. |
| `sortOrder` | [`ReleaseSortOrder`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/releasesortorder) | No | Sort order. Defaults to desc. |

## Response

Returns [`ReleasePage!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/releasepage). Open the type for its fields and nested types.

| `pageInfo` | [`PageInfo!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/pageinfo) | Continue from endCursor while hasNextPage is true. |

Types marked with `!` cannot be null. Lists use `[Type]` notation. The [type index](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/schema.md) lists all published input and response types.
