# Respond to input request

> Respond to input request.

`createInputResponse(command: RunsCreateInputResponseCommand!, idempotencyKey: String): RunsInputRequest!`

## Arguments

| Argument | Type | Required | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `command` | [`RunsCreateInputResponseCommand!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/runscreateinputresponsecommand) | Yes | |
| `idempotencyKey` | [`String`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | No | Retry key for this mutation (1-128 characters); overrides Idempotency-Key. |

## Input fields

### command

[`RunsCreateInputResponseCommand`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/runscreateinputresponsecommand)

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `inputRequestId` | [`ID!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/id) | Yes | Input request to answer. Every caller must match the requested responder role. Unbound callers need editor access to the run owner and project.runs.write. A bound runtime credential instead must match the exact run and needs conversations:write, viewer access to the run owner, and project.runs.read. A linked conversation also requires editor access. A fresh response to an already-resolved request returns 409 (submission, cancellation and expiry compete atomically). An authorized retry of the identical request with the same idempotency key returns its stored result. |
| `input` | [`RunsCreateInputResponseCommandInput!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/runscreateinputresponsecommandinput) | Yes | |

| `runId` | [`ID!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/id) | Run waiting for this input. |
| `title` | [`String!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | Question or decision shown to the responder. |
| `fields` | [`[JSON!]!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/json) | Fields the responder can fill in. |
