# Delete external file

> Delete external file.

`deleteExternalFile(input: ExternalStorageFileInput!): ExternalStorageDelete!`

Requires project.integrations.connect; API keys also need delete scope.

## Response

Returns [`ExternalStorageDelete!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/externalstoragedelete). Open the type for its fields and nested types.

| `status` | [`String!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | deleted (Google Drive) or trashed (OneDrive, SharePoint recycle bin). |
