# Dismiss branch approval

> Dismiss an approval so it no longer counts, keeping its record with the reason.

`dismissBranchApproval(approvalId: ID!, input: DismissBranchApprovalInput): BranchApproval!`

Requires project.files.write; API keys also need delete scope.

## Arguments
