# Get upload

> Return one upload's metadata by UUID or project-relative path.

`upload(input: UploadInput!): Upload!`

Requires project.uploads.read.

Returns [`Upload!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/upload). Open the type for its fields and nested types.

| `contentType` | [`String`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | Stored MIME type, or null when unspecified. |
| `sizeBytes` | [`Float!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/float) | File size in bytes. |
| `url` | [`String`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | API URL that serves the upload; access depends on its visibility. |
| `status` | [`UploadMetadataStatus!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/uploadmetadatastatus) | pending until the bytes are stored, active when available, or failed. |
| `visibility` | [`UploadFolderVisibility!`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/uploadfoldervisibility) | Effective visibility of the upload. |
