# FileVersionsInput

> Input object in the GraphQL API.

Committed file versions newest first: main uses selection time and branches use commit sequence.

| `ref` | [`String`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | No | Main or branch:\<name-or-id>. Release/environment history is unsupported. |
| `branch` | [`String`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | No | Branch name or ID alias for ref. Supplied aliases must agree. |
| `branchId` | [`String`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | No | Branch UUID alias for ref. Supplied aliases must agree. |
| `cursor` | [`String`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | No | Opaque endCursor returned by the preceding page. |
| `limit` | [`Int`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/int) | No | Maximum committed versions, 1..100 (default: 20). |
