# InviteUserPayload

> Response type in the GraphQL API.

| Field | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `id` | [`ID!`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/id) | User ID for USER\_ADDED; invitation ID for INVITE\_CREATED. |
| `type` | [`InviteUserResultType!`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/inviteuserresulttype) | Whether an existing user was added or a pending invitation was created. |
| `emailSent` | [`Boolean!`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/boolean) | Whether the email service accepted the notification send. False when sending is unavailable or fails; this does not confirm inbox delivery. |
