# SourceReadSelectorInput

> Input object in the GraphQL API.

The source a task or workflow source read uses. Without it the project source is read.

| `sourceTargetKind` | [`WriteTargetKind`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/writetargetkind) | No | The source to read; default runtimeTargetKind, else project. |
| `runtimeTargetKind` | [`RuntimeTargetKind`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/runtimetargetkind) | No | Used as the source to read when sourceTargetKind is omitted. |
| `targetBranchId` | [`ID`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/id) | No | Required with the kind preview\_branch. |
| `targetEnvironmentId` | [`ID`](https://veryfront.com/docs/cloud/graphql/types/id) | No | Not supported for source reads; a non-null value is refused as invalid\_input. |
