# Version

> Response type in the GraphQL API.

A stored file version. Release versions are hydrated from file\_version records, so fields without a producer on that path are served as null rather than filled with placeholder data.

| `entityId` | [`ID`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/id) | Identifier of the versioned entity (the file id for release versions). |
| `entityType` | [`String`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | Raw entity taxonomy reported by the producer, for example page. |
| `path` | [`String`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | Path of the versioned file. |
| `version` | [`Int`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/int) | Version sequence number when the producer records one. File-version snapshots have no numeric sequence and return null. |
| `createdAt` | [`DateTime`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/datetime) | RFC3339 timestamp of when the version was recorded. |
| `createdBy` | [`ID`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/id) | Account that recorded the version (file\_version.created\_by). This is not a deployment userId. |
| `data` | [`JSON`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/json) | Producer payload for the version, including the file body and metadata. |
| `date` | [`String`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/string) | RFC3339 creation timestamp. Alias of createdAt. |
| `type` | [`VersionType`](/docs/cloud/graphql/types/versiontype) | entityType projected onto the served taxonomy, or null when it has no token. |
