# Append run events

> Append run events.

`veryfront__append_run_events`

## Access

No external-service connection is required. Use a Veryfront credential with access to the requested resources.

**Call type:** Can change resources.

## Arguments

| `run_id` | `string` | Yes | Run identifier that scopes the request. Format: `uuid`. |
| `input` | `object` | Yes | Structured input details used by the tool. |
| `idempotency_key` | `string` | No | Retry key, 1-128 characters; overrides the HTTP Idempotency-Key header. Required for Task and Workflow event appends unless supplied in the header. No key is synthesized when both are omitted; Agent appends use their event sequence and cursor contract. Minimum length: `1`. Maximum length: `128`. |
