# Add knowledge

> Give agents project context in Veryfront Studio.

Use Knowledge to give agents access to an internal knowledge base.

## Steps

1. Open [Knowledge](/studio/panels/knowledge).
2. Add the document, note, or reference material.
3. Keep the content focused on one topic.
4. Save the knowledge item.
5. Open [Agents](/studio/panels/agents) and confirm the agent can use it.

## Verify

1. Open [Chat](/studio/panels/chat).
2. Select the agent.
3. Ask a question that depends on the new knowledge.
4. Check that the answer uses the added context.
