# Channels panel

> Connect team messaging channels in Veryfront Studio.

The Channels panel connects project agents to team messaging surfaces.

## Capabilities

* Connect a supported messaging workspace.
* Bind a channel or conversation to a project runtime target.
* Choose which assistant answers messages.
* Send a test message before relying on the connection.

## Use it when

* You want an agent to answer from a team channel.
* You need to route a channel to a branch or deployed environment.
* You want to verify that a messaging connection works.
